Due to its main activity there is a traditionally well known need in Helios Group for the protection of health and environment. The environmental goals and programmes for realization are a regular constituent part of annual business plan of companies of the group. The companies have set systems ISO 14001 and also ISO 18001 through which they systematically perform activities for prevention of harmful influences on people's health, reduction of pollution and other negative influences on environment.
In environmental policy the companies of the group undertake to lead such policy to have favourable effect on environmental aspects, which are result of their activites. Among numerous targets we wish to point out the following:
prevention of pollution and other negative influences on environment, where it is possible and practically realizable. Special attention will be devoted to reduction of influences to environment in key area (waste waters, emmission in the air, handling dangerous chemicals and dangerous waste);
with systematic education and training of employees assure that all are aware of their function and responsibility in the system of environment handling.
Follow up, performance and fulfilment of the constantly developing legal and other requirements relating to environment
informations about the environment to the state, direct neighbourhood and business partners about the influences and protection of health and environment;
constant improvement of products and production processes in the sense of ecologic acceptability.

The purpose of products which are placed to the market of the group's companies is besides decoration also protection of materials, prolongation of their life span – being also the contribution to responsible use of materials in the society.
