The realization of the goals at the level of Helios Group as well as of individual companies requires extensive and direct investments into knowledge and abilities of the emloyees. All companies of the Group have been gradually included in the process of definition of requirements and performance of suitable contents and exchange of good practices. The rules of handling are constituent part of employment in all companies of the Group. For distribution and control of rules in practice, heads at all levels are responsible, therefore at workshops we train heads, as they have to be with their behaviour and managing a good example to other employees. At Helios Group we promote a responsible and partnership relationship to social environment and individuals, which is also confirmed by obtaining the certificate the Family friendly company based on external revision of the selected procedures and measures for easier coordination of professional and family life of the employees. This certificate is obtained by the parent company.

We do not consider the funds, intended for this area only as investments into employees but as a form of a reward, which enables personal growth to an individual. Each employee has to be aware that he is co-responsible for his development and the company may support and give incentive to him. Besides formal forms the informal forms of training at work place and work process are very important. The heads and mentors are responsible for introduction of the newly employed workers and constant training of all employees. The companies in Helios Group successfully cooperate with different educational institutions at local and state levels. We have been included into educational and presentation projects on individual professions – particularly in chemistry. The students come to know the requirements of individual work places during visits in our companies, through practical work and diploma works. As one of the tools for successful managing and development we have some years ago introduced annual personal interviews between the heads and the employees. These interviews help us in formation of training plans and setting up plans for deeper communications in the relation head – the subordinated employee. As the tools for target managing this helps us in systematic set up of targets, check of fulfillment, notice of possible problems and obstacles at work and agreement, how to do away with the problems. The procedures, which we have successfully introduced in the area of education and training we also transfer to the acquired companies.
