We have been leading projects at Helios Group, at the level of individual companies, which connect us with local environment and people.
Current projects by individual companies:
Helios’s fund was founded in the year 1998. In partnership with the Ministry for environment and spatial planning we directed our activities into renovation of wells and cleaning of Karst caves. In the year 2004 we introduced also the pupils of elementary schools into this project.
In 1999, at Helios we started to co-operate with the Olympic committee of Slovenia. With joint efforts we constantly devote ourselves to renovation of different sports facilities and thus contribute to improvement of sports infrastructure for present and future generations.
In view of the social responsibility and intergration with the environment we have been for more than 30 years a proud main sponsor of the domestic basketball club, which became a state champion in the first Slovene league in the year 2007. The mutual successes inspire us with optimism and confirm that our efforts contribute to the success of a wider social sphere.
Duga AD Beograd supported throughout the year 2008 the promotion, prepared by the Waterpolo union of Serbia in cooperation with the Ministry for sport and youth under the name »With character against the aggression«. The target of this promotion was setting up the moral in sport and life and influencing young people to develop nice spiritual values against aggression.
The painters' workshop ZVEZDA-HELIOS exists for five years. It is intended for school children from the fifth to eighth class of elementary schools from Gornji Milanovac. The workshop is run in premises of the company "Zvezda-Helios".
At the end of November the Technology-metallurgy faculty of the University in Belgrade celebrated 60th anniversary, since the Technology department of the Technical faculty grew into the Technology faculty. On this occasion the scientific-professional meeting was organized under the name the Cleaner technologies and new materials – way to sustainable development.
