At the end of November the Technology-metallurgy faculty of the University in Belgrade celebrated 60th anniversary, since the Technology department of the Technical faculty grew into the Technology faculty. On this occasion the scientific-professional meeting was organized under the name the Cleaner technologies and new materials – way to sustainable development. In the frame of this meeting discussion was held under the topic »High level education in the area of technologies in function of the sustainable development and home economy« with the aim to promote constructive dialogue between faculties, state institutions and economic organisations and drawing attention to trends, development directions and needs of science-education system in the area of technology and domestic economy. On this occasion The business club of the Technology-metallurgy faculty was founded for connecting economic subjects, chambers of commerce and professional associations with a faculty to cooperate and improve joint working and personnel potentials, exchange of ideas, set up of contacts with the experts from the area of chemical technology, biochemistry engineering, textile technology and others. The incentive for its foundation was supported by DUGA a.d. from Belgrade and ZVEZDA-HELIOS from Gornji Milanovac with their experts, graduated engineers, who get their diplomas in this institution. DUGA a.d. and ZVEZDA-HELIOS have long tradition in cooperation with this faculty in Belgrade and they supported this performance. On this occasion Duga and Zvezda-Helios obtained the honoured tickets for this Business club, as the companies, who cooperated in its foundation for implementation of knowledge and maintenance of quality.
