Our leading team of R&D specialists developed coatings to protect high-capacity exhaust systems made of metal and composite substrates that exceed the most demanding of this segment’s standards.
The pigmented, usually black coating for metal substrates is temperature-resistant up to 600° C, with excellent photochemical resistance and stable coloration. Its decorative elements are permanent, as this coating is not resistant merely to high temperatures, but also to scratches and impacts. Further, due to its high dry-matter content, low emission of volatile organic substances, and hardening at ambient conditions, it is also environmentally friendly.
Another innovation from our research lab is colorless coating for protection of composite (mostly carbon) parts of exhaust systems. The coating stands out due to the combination of temperature stability up to 250° C and ultra-violet impermeability that protects the composite from photochemical degradation.
